Looking to plan a European getaway but don’t know where to start? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there.

With all the rich history, delicious food and amazing wine spread across the country, it can be overwhelming trying to figure out how to make the most of a trip to Europe. Whether it’s embarking on a romantic European cruise or drinking the best wine Spain has to offer, I’ll be sure to touch on all of the absolute necessities. Read on to discover my three absolute essentials for making your next trip to Europe one you truly won’t forget.

European Cruises Offer a One of a Kind Look

We’ve all heard of the traditional backpacking trips across Europe, but if you’re looking for a one of a kind look at a continent rich in gorgeous ports, inviting seatowns and amazing seafood then I recommend looking into a European cruise.

Anyone that has been on a cruise knows you want to make sure you stick with an established, well-known brand, and when it comes to European cruises no one does it better than Celebrity.

There are a ton of cruises to choose from, ranging from cruises that explore the Italian and Greek isles to 10-night tours of Spain and Monaco, so I always advise checking out Celebrity Europe Cruises to see what trip interests you the most. In my book, you can’t get any better than a seaside look at Italy or the South of France.

Copenhagen’s Tivoli Gardens are an Absolute Must

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t love amusement parks? And when an amusement park is considered one of the most popular bucket list attractions that’s just icing on the cake, right?

Based in the center of Copenhagen, the Tivoli Gardens have been providing entertainment of all sorts all the way back to 1843. And guess what? It’s said that the Tivoli Gardens served as an inspiration for Disneyland.

If you’re not in the mood for a carnival atmosphere, then I recommend catching a concert at one of the many open concert venues or walking through the various gardens spread out across the property. Trust me, you won’t regret the experience!

Looking for the Best Wine in Europe? Spain Has All You Need

Wherever I go, I am always on the hunt for the best wines I can find and I have to say that Spain might top the list. I’d say even better than France!

Why? Well, okay both wines are great, but there is just something about the atmosphere of Spain that seems to compliment the art of wine drinking. I mean, in Spain taking a siesta — a brief afternoon nap — is built right into the culture.

And in the evenings it’s commonplace to go out for wine and tapas while soaking in the stunning architecture.

How can it get any better than that?

Hopefully this little guide helps you get started planning your next trip to Europe.
