[slogan]New Zealand is like all the Earth’s ecosystems compressed into two islands.[/slogan]
It’s easy to see why New Zealand is a bucket list staple for travelers from all parts. New Zealand really has it all — beaches, mountains, volcanoes, culture, city life, great food, glaciers, thrill sports, and more sheep (and wildlife) than humans. When every single friend who returns from New Zealand can’t help but hyperbolize about its beauty, it’s time to pack.
The Hubs and I took a nine-day trek through North and South Island, New Zealand in our Mighty Campervan. The landscape was mesmerizing. I couldn’t put my camera down even while I was driving (bad driver, bad!). As you can see, the roads are quite desolate. Some days, we didn’t see a soul for hours on end.

New Zealand looks incredibly beautiful, I really have no excuse not to visit since it’s such a short flight from Melbourne! Your photos are incredible, thank you for sharing them 🙂

I feel so privileged to be living here for 5 months! Although at the moment it’s not quite all fun and games, lots of working and saving… But it’ll be worth it once January comes around and I can go on my long-awaited month-long roadtrip around the country!! and ohhh lordy these photos have got me sooo excited!

Awesome. Where are you planning to go in New Zealand?
November 6, 2014 at 3:26 pm
We are still researching because there is just SO much to do, but we are planning to go to both islands. We want to go do the major things, like the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, but I am also trying to find more off the beaten path things to do!

I loved seeing your photos. I’ve been posting recently about our campervan trip around N.Z. too. N.Z. would have to be the best place for a campervan trip!

There is no need for words here. Such lovely lovely pics. And an epic trip alright. I particularly love that rainbow sky (not rainbow exactly but seems so like that). Cheers
