Arizona must have inspired Dr. Seuss. The rock formations are a sort of confectioner’s design. It’s as if — millennia ago — a giant-sized trow raked across soft red earth with cream cheese. I call White Pocket the plasterwork of the gods. This off-the-beaten-path spot was one of many I visited in May 2016.
Watch my travel film below.
Locations:
Upper Antelope Canyon
Horseshoe Bend
White Pocket
Vermilion Cliffs
Sedona
The Grand Canyon

I totally agree that Arizona must have been Dr. Seuss’ inspiration! I read a lot of Dr. Seuss to my son and it looks exactly like this! My husband went to school in AZ so he always talks about us doing a road trip there. I still haven’t seen the Grand Canyon!

Beautiful Jessica, as always!
I have the feeling, your impressions even get from time to time more amazing. I love your video, it is so relaxing and nice to look at. These fantastic colors, the calm sequences and also these closeups of these tadpoles… our earth is so beautiful and that’s why I love to look at such great and unique travel blogs like yours, that show with a very own signature all the inherent natural beauty. P.S. Nice animation of your logo in the video 🙂

I am so gutted I didn’t have time to do Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe bend when I was in Arizona. Next time though, I won’t be missing it. It looks so beautiful and I can’t wait to get there and visit 🙂
